Hyannis Port Yacht Club is a private boating club on Cape Cod. Founded in 1909 and incorporated in 1966, HPYC is community-focused and volunteer-led. From junior sailing classes and competitive sailing races on Nantucket Sound to power-boating picnics and sport-fishing, we are committed to helping our members make the most of their time on the water.
HPYC offers junior sailing instruction to children of members and non-members. Whether your child has sailed for many years or is brand new to the sport, our instructors will ensure that your sailor learns to love life on the water.
Please review HPYC class descriptions to find the best fit for your child, and reach out to our sailing staff with any questions and concerns.
We encourage you to get involved in HPYC activities and have fun! Whether you're interested in learning to sail, have been racing for decades, like to help run races, love to fish, raft up with friends, enjoy supporting our junior sailors, or like the camaraderie of selling merchandise, there are many ways to get involved!
The summer season is short – please don’t hesitate to participate and volunteer!
The safety of our members, staff and community is our foremost concern. We are utilizing all relevant COVID-19 guidance from the Massachusetts Department of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and US Sailing.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
